Schedule & Shift Details:

• Mix of 8.5-hour and 13-hour shifts

• Inpatient setting

• 30-minute call response time required

Position Overview:
This CRNA assignment involves full-scope anesthesia services across a broad surgical case mix in an inpatient hospital environment. Providers must be proficient in high-acuity anesthesia management and comfortable caring for both assigned and unassigned patients.

Clinical Work / Case Types:

CRNA should be competent in:

• General Anesthesia — Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Trauma

• Spinal Anesthesia

• Regional Anesthesia Surgery

• Neurosurgical Cases (Head and Spine)

• Thoracic Cases — excluding open heart

• Complex Vascular Cases — excluding open heart

• Complex Orthopedic Cases

• Ventilation Management

• Acute Volume & Blood Pressure Management

• Arterial Line Placement

Facility Details:

• Setting: Inpatient

• Trauma Level III

• EMR: Paper charting

Requirements:

• Active Alabama License – Required

• ACLS Required

• BNDD Required

• Prior experience across the full anesthesia case mix listed above

• Must meet 30-minute call response requirement
