Springfield, IL is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum assignment starting January 2026. This is a Level I Trauma Center offering a diverse case mix across inpatient ORs, outpatient surgery, and GI. Ideal for providers seeking stability, no call, and a high-volume, team-based environment.
Job Responsibilities
23 Inpatient ORs
6 Outpatient ORs (Healthy Peds, Plastics, ENT, Ortho & more)
4-Room GI Unit (Screenings, ERCPs, Bronchs)
Average Cases per Day: 55–60
Patient Populations: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults
Anesthesia Care Team Model
EMR: Cerner
Qualifications
BLS or ACLS
DEA
Minimum 1 year CRNA experience
Cerner experience preferred
Working Hours
5x8s, no weekends, no call
Full-time preferred, but 2+ weeks per month also accepted
Skills
Level I Trauma Center – CRNAs must be proficient and comfortable managing a wide variety of cases including:
General
Trauma
Ortho
ENT
GYN
Robotics
Healthy pediatrics
Not required:
Cardiac
Thoracic
Vascular
