Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced CRNA for a full time position covering two surgery centers in Lakewood and Eatontown, NJ

Monday through Friday position - Can be 8 hrs a day or 4 - 10 hour shifts.

Cases include cataract, GI, general surgery including laparoscopic, urology, pain, Ortho and some cosmetics

Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will play a vital role in providing anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. This position requires a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment, along with the ability to manage airways effectively and monitor patients throughout their procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment and the ability to work collaboratively within a hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process.
Manage airway complications and provide emergency interventions as needed.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care provided to each patient.
Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices.

Qualifications

Experience

A valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist is required.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, particularly as it relates to anesthesia practice.
Experience in airway management techniques and patient monitoring during procedures.
Familiarity with geriatrics and the unique considerations for older patients is preferred.
Previous experience administering injections and conducting patient assessments in a surgery center environment is highly desirable.

Monday to Friday
8hr shifts - 5 days
10hr shifts - 4 days
