Job Responsibilities - Administer anesthesia for various procedures, including general, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and pediatric cases. - Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring optimal anesthesia care. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Utilize advanced techniques such as spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and pain management.
Qualifications - Must hold an active Pennsylvania CRNA license. - Certification by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is required. - Proficiency in spinal anesthesia and arterial line insertion is preferred. - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is mandatory.
Working Hours - Monday–Friday - 8-hour (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and 10-hour (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) shifts available
Skills - Skilled in administration of various anesthesia types: general, spinal, epidural, and regional. - Expertise in managing complex cases and trauma. - Ability to manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues. - Competency in central line and arterial line placement, and use of x-ray guidance for blocks.
