As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in this locum tenens position, you'll play a key role in patient care across various settings, including a hospital and outpatient surgical centers. Flexible scheduling options are available with day, night, and weekend shifts as per departmental needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care in various environments including Level 2 trauma settings
  • Manage cases involving OB, thoracic, and healthy pediatric patients, among others
  • Perform spinals and epidurals independently
  • Potentially handle call shifts as per department requirements

Qualifications

  • Current or in-process VA license
  • AHA certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience; Level 2 trauma experience mandatory
  • Proficiency in OB and thoracic anesthesia

Working Hours

  • Full-time schedule, 36-40 hours per week
  • Flexibility with shifts: potential for weekdays and/or nights
  • Nightly or weekend call coverage available and paid separately

Skills

  • Strong capability in spinal and epidural anesthesia management
  • Experience with a variety of cases, including orthopedic, GI, and ENT
  • Ability to adapt between different hospital settings and patient needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a diverse team
