PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Adult surgical patients
  • Patient Volume/Census: Variable, per facility caseload
  • Case Mix: General anesthesia across inpatient and surgical cases

FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary surgical and anesthesia team
  • Support Staff Available: Anesthesia Assistants, CRNAs, surgical staff, nursing support
  • Reason for Coverage: Ongoing anesthesia service coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: TBD
  • Orientation: As scheduled by facility

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Local providers only; no travel coverage REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Postoperative emergence and recovery management
  • Collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Georgia CRNA license
  • Board: Board Certified CRNA or CAA (Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant)
  • DEA: Active DEA Certification preferred
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
  • Experience: Prior experience in hospital-based general anesthesia
  • Other Qualifications: Local provider requirement; full-time availability (7280 hours per pay period)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff
  • Ensure patient safety and monitoring before, during, and after anesthesia
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence phases of anesthesia
  • Support anesthesia coverage across varying case types as assigned
