A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position is available for an experienced professional in a hospital and ambulatory surgical center setting in Fredericksburg, VA. This locum tenens role requires expertise in OB and thoracic procedures, with pediatric experience preferred. You will work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) across multiple locations, assisting with a variety of cases excluding transplants. Emergency privileges are provided for holiday coverage, and the role requires Level 2 trauma experience.

Job Responsibilities - Administer anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures. - Provide care in obstetrics, thoracic, and various other specialties. - Perform and manage spinals and epidural placements. - Float between hospital operating rooms and ambulatory surgical centers.

Qualifications - Valid VA nursing license or in process - AHA certifications required - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting - Clean background for emergency privileges - Proficiency in obstetrics and thoracic cases

Working Hours - 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Full-time, 36+ hours per week - Schedule planned 8 weeks in advance

Skills - Strong expertise in spinals, epidurals, and managing anesthesia independently - Ability to work under pressure in trauma settings - Effective communication and teamwork skills - Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
