We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services at a Level I trauma hospital in Northern California. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking high-acuity cases, flexible scheduling, and long-term placement potential. Coverage is needed beginning December 2025 for a 12-month contract with potential for ongoing placement.
🏥 Job Details:
Setting: Acute care hospital, medical direction model with faculty supervision
Schedule: Day shifts, 10–12 hours; Monday–Friday
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call required
Shift Commitment: Full-time preferred; ongoing contract with long-term stability
Support Services: CRNAs supervised under medical direction model; collaborative team environment
Patient Population: Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics; high acuity trauma patients
Procedures: General anesthesia cases including ortho, gyn, general surgery, neuro, ENT, vascular, GI; special procedures include vent management, central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters (no open hearts)
Charting: Epic
📋 Requirements:
Board Certification: NBCRNA required
License: Active California license required (not willing to license)
Certifications: BLS required; DEA and California CSR required
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred; Trauma Level I/II experience preferred; teaching hospital experience preferred
New Grads: Will be reviewed

Credentialing timeframe: 30–45 days
