We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services at a community hospital in Idaho. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking independent practice, consistent weekday scheduling, and long-term placement potential. Coverage is needed beginning February 2026 for a 12-month contract with potential for ongoing placement.
🏥 Job Details:
Setting: Acute care hospital, Trauma Level III
Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM); Monday–Friday
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call, no weekends
Shift Commitment: Full-time preferred; 40 hours per week guaranteed
Support Services: Independent practice model; CRNAs perform their own pre-ops and may perform regional blocks; physicians available for assistance but not direct supervision
Patient Population: Adults and healthy pediatric cases; approximately 1,500 births annually
Procedures: OB anesthesia (c-sections, epidurals) required; general OR cases including ortho, gyn, ENT (healthy peds), spine fusions, laminectomies, DaVinci gyn/urology, endoscopy, cardioversions, and pediatric dental
Charting: Epic
Hospital Size: 150 beds
📋 Requirements:
Board Certification: NBCRNA required
License: Open to licensing; Idaho CSR required
Certifications: DEA required
Experience: Minimum 1 year required; must be comfortable practicing independently
Charting Experience: Epic preferred

Credentialing timeframe: ~30 days if licensed; 60–75 days if pending license
Independent practice model — CRNAs must be confident in autonomous decision-making
Name clear required prior to submission (license status and NPI)
