Full-Time Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Needed in Iowa!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care in a hospital surgical setting. The CRNA will evaluate and monitor patients before and during surgery, delivering safe and effective general anesthesia, including OB and pediatric cases. This role offers a collaborative team environment with no cardiac or neurosurgical procedures required.

Dates / Schedule

• Schedule: Full-time

• Patient Contact Hours: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Outreach/Telehealth: None

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia services, including obstetric cases (TOLAC) and healthy pediatric patients.

• Perform conscious sedation and assist in all aspects of perioperative anesthesia care.

• Evaluate and monitor patients preoperatively and intraoperatively to ensure safety and comfort.

• Collaborate with 6 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers in a department performing 30–50 cases per day across 13 ORs.

• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation.

• No responsibilities for medical imaging, lab, or pharmacy services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Certification: Board Certified CRNA – Required

• Licensure: Active Iowa license or compact license – Required

• Availability: Must be available full time – Required

• Background: Clean malpractice and background record – Required
