Opportunity Snapshot:

A hospital in Ketchikan, Alaska, is seeking an experienced CRNA (or MD/DO) for OR and after-hours call coverage. This role offers a rewarding mix of inpatient, emergency, and obstetric anesthesia care in a 25-bed critical access facility. Ideal for a confident provider comfortable working independently in a full-scope rural hospital setting.

Start Date:

• Mid-November 2025

Schedule:

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (8-hour shifts)

• Call: Assigned weekday and weekend after-hours call

• Setting: Inpatient hospital

Facility Details:

• Hospital Beds: 25

• Average Patients per Day: 5–15

• Patient Demographics: All ages

• Type: Critical Access Hospital

Work Details:

• Procedures/Skills Required:

  • General OR Cases

  • OB Department Support

  • Emergency Department Support

  • Occasional Arterial and Central Line Placement

• Support: Solo provider role

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• NBCRNA Certification – Required

• Active Alaska License – Required (expedited credentialing available, ~30 days)

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Required; NRP & ATLS Preferred

• Experience: Prior independent CRNA experience strongly preferred
