Job Description:
Aya Locums is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a hospital-based locum assignment in Roanoke, Virginia. This Level 1 trauma hospital offers diverse case exposure, flexible scheduling, and full travel coverage.
Position Highlights:

Location: Roanoke, VA

Schedule: 8, 10, 12, or 16-hour shifts available (40 hours/week guaranteed)

No 24-hour shifts
-
No call, no weekends, no OB, no peds
-
Must be available full-time and able to work Fridays

Case mix: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Surgery, GYN, and Endoscopy

Practice model: Light medical direction

Setting: Level 1 trauma hospital using Epic EMR

Travel: Covered (airfare, lodging, rental car, or stipend option)

Start Date: February 2026 (credentialing takes ~75–100 days)
Requirements:

Board Certified CRNA

Active Virginia license or willing to obtain (compact accepted)

Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience in hospital or trauma setting preferred
