🌟 Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anaesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment covering both paediatric and adult cases. This is an hourly, non-inclusive assignment with competitive pay and full travel support.
🕒 Schedule & Coverage
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- FTE: 1.0 (full-time)
- Shift Duration: 8 - and 10-hour shifts
- Call: ❌ No call required
- EMR: Epic
🏥 Practice Model
- Care Model: Collaborative CRNA/MD team
- Supervision Ratio: Standard care model
- Patient Age Range: 0–99 years (no NICU <6 months)
- Average Patient Volume: 30–40 cases/day
- Cases per Provider: 1–8 cases/day
💉 Case Mix
Paediatrics & Adult Surgical Cases:
- Paediatric: ENT, General Surgery, Urology, BMT, Oculoplastic
- Adult: Ortho, GYN/Oncology, Urology, Complex Spine, Ophthalmology, Plastics, ECT
- Daily mix varies: from no peds cases to all-peds rooms
Locum CRNAs typically handle adult cases but must be comfortable with paediatric anaesthesia when assigned.
🩺 Requirements
✅ Active CRNA/APRN license
✅ Board Certified CRNA
✅ Certifications: ACLS, PALS
✅ Minimum Commitment: 3 shifts per week
✅ Flu vaccination required
🌴 Travel & Housing
- Full Travel Provided
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
💰 Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $240 - $250/hr
