Start Times: 6:30a, 9:30a, or 11:30a (varies daily)

Schedule: Variable; provider submits availability and site schedules accordingly

Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per month required

Lunch Break: 30-minute unpaid break provided by coverage team

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 40 hours per week

Holiday Pay: 1.5x rate for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

Trauma Level: Level I

Setting: Hospital-based; teaching environment with anesthesia residents

Supervision Model: Medical Direction — one Anesthesiologist supervising up to three CRNAs

Support Staff: Faculty Anesthesiologists and Resident team coverage

EMR: EPIC
Case Mix & Department Details

Case Types: General cases (orthopedic, gynecology, general surgery)

No OB, pediatrics, or cardiac cases

High-acuity, complex patient population

Must have recent Level I Trauma experience (within the last 2 years)

Weekend cases often include trauma patients
Requirements

Board Certification: Required (CRNA)

State License: California (active prior to start)

COVID-19 Vaccine: Required

Minimum Experience: Level I trauma experience within past 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 30–45 days
Compensation & Terms

Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)

Rate: All-Inclusive

OT: 1.5x after 40 hours/week

Holiday Pay: 1.5x rate on designated holidays
