Position Details:
Setting: Operating rooms, obstetrics, orthopedics, endoscopy, and emergency procedures
Start Date: ASAP (credentialing dependent)
Duration: Ongoing locums coverage – short-term or block scheduling available
Shifts Available: 7a–3p, 7a–5p, or 8-hour day shifts; optional call rotation
Shift Volume: Mix of general surgery, OB, ortho, endo, and occasional emergency cases
Shifts Per Provider: 1 shift per day | option for multi-week blocks
Call: TBD (light or shared)
Orientation: Provided upon arrival
Practice & Facility Information:
Work Environment:
Work in a community-focused hospital located in MD, providing anesthesia coverage for a wide range of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, endoscopy, and emergent procedures.
Support Staff:
Collaborative OR team including surgeons, anesthesia technicians, and nursing staff. CRNAs may practice independently or with anesthesiologist supervision per Maryland law.
EMR System: Meditech
Telehealth: Not applicable
Malpractice: Provided
Travel & Lodging: Covered
Credentialing: ~45 days average
Certifications Required:
- Active Maryland CRNA license
- BLS and ACLS required
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Board Certified / Board Eligible CRNA
