Job Highlights

Local candidates within driving distance preferred

Ongoing sporadic coverage for PTO
-
No call required – all surgeries are scheduled

EMR: EPIC (4–5 hour training required, fully compensated)

Work independently but surgeon or provider will be present

Average cases per day: 11–15 cataracts, 3–4 other procedures
-
Trauma level: 4
-
Annual ER volume: ~5,000
-
OR setup: 2 rooms staffed with surgical techs, RNs, CRNAs, and surgeons.

Job Responsibilities
1 surgeon: Total hips & knees
1 surgeon: Scopes
1 surgeon: Cataracts
1 surgeon: Scopes + minor surgeries
Required CRNA cases include:
General adult & pediatric surgery
Minor nerve blocks
IV regional anesthesia
Spinal anesthesia (for total knees)
Regional anesthesia
Ventilation management
Local infiltration
Procedures typically include: Cataracts, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel, minor procedures
Qualifications
NBCRNA – [REQUIRED]
Active Iowa License – [REQUIRED]
BLS, ACLS, PALS – [REQUIRED]
COVID vaccine – [REQUIRED]
Local / within driving distance – [REQUIRED]
Experienced provider – no new grads
Working Hours
