Job description
Job Title: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Facility & Practice Summary: Join a dynamic team at a state-of-the-art facility located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Nebraska Heart Hospital is seeking 1-2 additional CRNAs starting February 2026, offering a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the practice. The independent-based practice model ensures excellent support from existing clinicians, and candidates can expect to work within both the Operating Room and Catheterization Lab, handling primarily vascular and electrophysiology cases without physician supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of cases in a surgical and cath lab setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR.
- Participate in weekend and night call as needed.
- Provide high-quality anesthesia services independently.
- Adapt to various scheduling needs for consistent coverage.
Qualifications:
- Active NBCRNA Certification (REQUIRED)
- Nebraska nursing license (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Clean malpractice and background history (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Experience with Epic EMR (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Submission of a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must be certified by NBCRNA.
- Nebraska state license is highly preferred but not mandatory.
