Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum assignment in Springfield, MO. This is a high-functioning inpatient role with no call responsibilities, offering a consistent weekday schedule and competitive compensation. The ideal candidate is confident, autonomous, and ready to integrate into a collaborative clinical team.
Expectations:
As a CRNA, you will be responsible for the full scope of anesthesia care, including:
- Preoperative patient assessments and anesthesia planning
- Administration of anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
- Monitoring patients throughout procedures and managing post-anesthesia recovery
- Collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective care
- Maintaining accurate documentation in Epic EMR
CRNAs must demonstrate advanced clinical judgment, precision under pressure, and a commitment to patient safety. This role requires independent practice within a supportive medical environment.
Requirements
To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Board Certified CRNA
- Active Missouri State License
- Minimum of 12 months of recent case logs
- No new graduates – prior locum or inpatient experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
Location: Springfield, Missouri
Rate: $255/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
Shifts: 10- and 12-hour options available
Setting: Inpatient only
Call: No call required
