Job Title: CRNA – Locum Tenens
Location: Boise, ID
Start Date: April 6, 2026
Duration: 6–12 months
Schedule:
- Scheduled shifts: 40 hours/week; mix of 8s, 10s, and 12s
- Additional coverage: 24-hour + 16-hour shift per week
- On-Call Requirements:
- 1 weekend call shift/month
- 2 weeknight call shifts/month
- Option to work 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday regular shift every 3 months in place of one call shift
- Schedule released in 6-week blocks
- No block scheduling
Setting:
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics (90%+ over age 12)
- EMR: Epic
- Practice Model: Supervision-based anesthesia (max 4:1 ratio)
- ORs: 17 MOR, 7 DSC, plus specials, cath labs, endo, radiology
Procedures Include:
- GYN, General Surgery, Ortho, Spine, Crani, Plastics, Lungs, Healthy Peds, Eye, GI, Structural Hearts, EP, Endo, Interventional Radiology, MRI
- Skills Required: Spinal Blocks
- CRNAs do not perform their own regional anesthesia/blocks
- Occasionally perform arterial lines (not required)
- OB, Burns, Transplants, Open Heart, Sick Peds: Not included
Requirements:
- Board Certification: NBCRNA – Required
- State License: Idaho – Required (open to licensing)
- DEA: Required
- CSR: Idaho – Required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year (will consider 6 months) – No new grads
- Credentialing Timeframe:
- Licensed: 30–45 days
- Pending license: 90–120 days
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $210–$220/hour
