Assignment Overview:
Our facility partner is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for locum tenens coverage at a leading Level 1 Trauma Center in Lexington, KY. This position offers a full-time 4x10 schedule, day shifts only, and a collaborative, academic hospital environment.
Start Date: February 2, 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks (option to extend)
Schedule: Full-time; 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, ½-hour lunch)
Coverage: Scheduled only – No Call
Setting: Hospital / Level 1 Trauma Center
Availability: Must be available 4 weeks per month
Compensation:
Pay Range: $225–$240 per hour
Travel & Lodging: Provided (flight, rental car/mileage, hotel)
Practice Details:
• Case Types: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (no cardiac, no OB)
• Average Cases per Day: 1–9
• Patient Population: All ages (no neonatal)
• Team Structure: Medically directed model – typically 1:2 or 1:3 ratio (up to 1:4 in low acuity); attendings often supervise residents
• EMR: Epic (preferred)
• NORA coverage required
Skills & Procedures:
• Intubation
• Central Line
• Arterial Line
• Line Placement
• Blocks not typically required
• No OB anesthesia
Requirements:
• Certification: NBCRNA (required)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year (no new grads)
• State License: Kentucky (open to licensing)
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
