CRNA – Locum Tenens (Full-Time or Part-Time, Ongoing)

Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Coverage & Schedule

Coverage Type: Scheduled hours + optional call
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30a–3p / 5p / 7p / 8p
Shifts Available: 8s, 10s, 12s, 16s
Minimum Commitment: 2 weeks per month, 36 hours per week (full-time preferred)
Paid Orientation: 2 days required
Call (Optional):

Weeknight Beeper Call – 8 or 12 hrs
Weekend Beeper Call – 12 or 24 hrs
Occasional overnight shifts available but not required
Overtime: 1.5× hourly rate (pre-approved only)
Holiday Pay: 1.5× hourly rate (major holidays)
Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days

Work Details

Practice Setting: Hospital – Tertiary facility
Model: Supervised care team (4:1 ratio)
Support Staff: 24-hour anesthesia aide department
Patient Population: Ages 12+
Case Types: Specialized tertiary care (no blocks, lines, epidurals, or spinals performed by CRNA)
Daily Volume: Variable; large tertiary caseload

Requirements

Board Certification: NBCRNA (required)
License: Minnesota RN & APRN (required; MN is not compact)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Skills Checklist: Required at submission
Residency Rule: Must live 50+ miles from Abbott Northwestern

Locum CRNA needed in Minneapolis, MN - $235/hr to $240/hr
