Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Sumter, SC

Coverage & Schedule

Coverage Type: Scheduled hours (on-call optional)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–4p (flexible)
Duration: Full-time, every week for 6 months
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days (must have active SC license; not licensing)

Work Details

Practice Setting: Hospital – Medical Direction model
Patient Volume: 15–30 cases per day
Patient Population: Pediatrics (age 2+) through adults
Case Types: General anesthesia, pediatric dental, ENT
Excluded Cases: Cardiac, neuro, and OB
Skills Required: Bread-and-butter anesthesia, pediatric comfort required
Supervision: Medically directed model under anesthesiologist
EMR: Not specified

Requirements

Board Certification: NBCRNA (required)
License: South Carolina (required; no licensing assistance)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Experience: Minimum 2 years, clean malpractice history
