Position: CRNA
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: February 2, 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks (full-time only)
Location: Lexington, KY
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)

Coverage & Schedule

Coverage Type: Scheduled hours, no call
Scheduled Hours: 4x10s (full-time, 40 hrs/week)
Shift: 7a–5:30p (½-hour lunch)
Availability: Must be available 4 weeks/month
OT: None
Holiday Rate: 1.5x (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)

Work Details

Practice Setting: Hospital
Supervision Model: Medically directed (2:1 or 3:1, up to 4:1 for low acuity)
Support Staff: CRNAs, anesthesia techs, anesthesiologists, and residents
Cases: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (no hearts, no OB)
Skills: Intubation, central line, arterial line, line placement
Patient Population: All ages except neonates
Daily Volume: 1–9 cases/day
EMR: Epic (preferred)
Additional: All providers required to work NORA cases

Requirements

Certification: NBCRNA
License: Kentucky (open to licensing)
Experience: Minimum 1 year (no new grads)
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
Vaccines: COVID-19 & Flu (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
