Facility: University of Minnesota – Amplatz Children’s Hospital (West Bank campus)

Care Model: Collaborative care team model

Supervision Ratio: Standard MD/CRNA ratio

Average Volume: 30–40 cases per day

Cases per CRNA: 1–8/day

Patient Age Range: 0–99 years
-
Locums typically handle adult cases
-
May occasionally work in mixed age rooms or peds-heavy days
-
NICU cases under 6 months not typically assigned

🧠 Case Types Include:

Adult Cases: Ortho, GYN/Oncology, Urology, Complex Spine, Ophthalmology, Plastics, ECT

Pediatric Cases: ENT, General Surgery, Urology, BMT, Oculoplastics

Must be comfortable with basic peds cases
✅ Requirements:

Active MN CRNA/APRN license – Required at submission

Board Certification – Required
-
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
-
Flu vaccination – Required

IMLC – Accepted
