Locum CRNA Needed - Rhode Island - Up to 220/hr

⏰ Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours + On Call Required

🗓️ Coverage & Schedule:

• Shift: Day, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour standard shifts)

• Primary call every 3rd weeknight and 4th weekend

• Call hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Call response time: 30 minutes

• Call starts at 3 PM on weeknights

• First Call CRNAs take every 3rd weeknight and 4th weekend

• Second Call MDs cover every day and weekend they work

• Rotation: 3 weeks on, 1 week off (ongoing weekly schedule)

• 13 weeks off annually

• Specific dates with coverage needs:

  • Oct 10

  • Nov 5–6, Nov 25–27

  • Dec 4, Dec 22–25, Dec 29–31

🏥 Practice & Case Details:

• Annual Case Volume: ~3,000 cases

• Case Mix: General surgery, endoscopy, OB (~450 deliveries), orthopedics (some spines), urology, gynecology, podiatry, cardiac (~380/year including cath lab & TEE)

• OR Rooms: 4

• Cardiovascular Room: 1

• Providers during the day: 4 (3 CRNAs + 1 MD)

• EMR: EPIC

🔧 Skills & Proficiency:

• Must be proficient in spinals, epidurals, and blocks

• Caselogs required — proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks must be provided

👥 Team Model:

• Daily: 3 CRNAs + 1 MD

• Full Model: 4 CRNAs + 2 MDs

• MD Role: Preoperative evaluations, managing boards, PACU support, and second call coverage

• CRNA Role: Room coverage during the day and first call

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required (no board-eligible candidates accepted)

• Licensure: ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required

• Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
