CRNA – Locums Coverage | Western Wisconsin

Position Details:

• Setting: Hospital surgical suites with general, regional, local anesthesia; obstetrics (C-sections, labor epidurals, intrathecal); emergency & critical care support
  • Start Date: ASAP (after credentialing)
  • Duration: Ongoing locums coverage (2 CRNAs needed)
  • Shifts Available: OR coverage, OB call, postop recovery, emergent cases
  • Shift Volume: Variable; mixed OR and OB caseloads, emergency resuscitation as needed
  • Shifts Per Provider: Flexible; based on availability and block scheduling
  • Call: Required — includes OB and emergency/critical care coverage
  • Orientation: Full hospital onboarding with credentialing support provided

Practice & Facility Information:

• Work Environment: Regional hospital providing comprehensive anesthesia care — general surgery, OB, emergency, pain management
  • Support Staff: Anesthesia techs/assistants, OR nursing, OB staff, recovery unit support, ultrasound and POC technology
  • EMR System: Hospital EMR (details provided during onboarding)
  • Telehealth: Limited; may be used for pre-anesthesia assessments
  • Malpractice: Provided (claims-made with tail or occurrence coverage — per client contract)
  • Credentialing: WI license preferred; MN candidates considered if open to WI licensing; full credentialing support available

Certifications Required:

• CRNA (NCCAA) with valid RN license
• WI license preferred (MN okay if willing to obtain WI)
• ACLS, PALS, NRP (for OB coverage)
• DEA and CSR for controlled substances
