I’m reaching out with a CRNA locum opportunity a Level 1 Trauma Center in Roanoke, VA. This role offers competitive hourly pay, a generous weekly travel stipend, and the option for extended hours.
📍 Opportunity Details
- Location: Roanoke, VA other locations as well!
- Start Date: December/January (credentialing ~75–100 days)
- Rate: $235–$240/hr
- Contract: 13 weeks (extensions possible)
- Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (16s available)
- Coverage: Full-time required | Up to 60 hours/week | No 24-hour shifts
- Setting: Level 1 Trauma, highly complex patients
🏥 Clinical Details
- Case Types: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Surgery, GYN, Endoscopy
- No Cardiac, No OB, No Pediatrics (pediatric cases covered by anesthesiologists)
- Medical Direction (loosely supervised)
- EMR: Epic
✅ Requirements
- Board-Certified CRNA
- Active Virginia license (Compact accepted; willing to license)
- DEA required
- Must be able to commit to full-time coverage
💼 Logistics & Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $235–$240/hr
- Travel Stipend: +$3,000/week
- Travel Covered: Airfare, lodging, rental car provided
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
