Job description
Palm Health Resources is actively seeking an experienced locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a busy, high-acuity OB service in Central North Carolina, at one of the regions largest academic hospitals (name confidential).
This is a night shift position (6:30 pm 7:00 am) with coverage required on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends. With 7,500+ deliveries per year, this is an ideal assignment for CRNAs with strong epidural and spinal anesthesia skills looking to contribute in a high-volume setting.
Assignment Overview
- Setting: Inpatient hospital, OB-only
- Shifts: Overnight (6:30 pm 7:00 am)
- Schedule: Mondays, Fridays, and weekends required
- Call: In-house
- Start: ASAP ongoing
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 6090 days
- Board Certification: Required
- Licensure: NC license or IMLC accepted
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Procedures & Experience Required
- Epidural and spinal anesthesia
- Ventilation management
- Evaluation of acute volume/BP issues
- Central and arterial line placement (preferred)
- OB-focused experience required
- High-volume labor & delivery setting preferred
