🏥 CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity | Level 1 Trauma Center | Flexible Schedule | Portland, ME

🩺 Position: Locum Tenens – CRNA (Hospital-Based)
🕓 Duration: February–April 2026 Start | 3–6+ Month Contracts | Ongoing Need

📅 Schedule & Shifts:

• Full-Time: 36–40 hours/week (10 or 12-hour shifts)

• Shifts Available:

  • 0700–1730

  • 0700–1930

  • 0900–1930

  • 0900–2130

  • 1100–2330

• Lunches unpaid; 30-min added to reflect shift length

• Breaks provided (AM & PM)
  

• Open to 2 weeks on/2 weeks off – Full-time preferred
  

🏨 Facility Details:

• Setting: Large academic hospital; Level 1 Trauma Center

• Annual ER Volume: 60,000+ visits/year

• Avg Surgical Cases/Day: 100+

• ORs: 50

• EMR: EPIC

• Model: Collaborative team-based care

  • Medical direction billing model

  • Work closely with physician anesthesiologists

  • Strong, team-first culture focused on excellence and respect

❌ What You Won’t Do:

• No open hearts

• No regional anesthesia

• No central lines

• No OB, thoracic, or peds (dedicated CRNA teams handle these cases)

✅ What You Will Do:

• Adult General Surgical Cases

• Spinal Anesthesia

• Neurosurgical Cases

• Ventilation Management

• Local Infiltration

🔍 Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified CRNA – REQUIRED

• Maine License – Preferred (willing to accept those in process)

• BLS & ACLS (AHA) – REQUIRED

• 1+ year experience in Level 1 Trauma Center – REQUIRED

  • No new grads
    

• PALS – Optional
