- A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is needed to provide anesthesia coverage in a supervised hospital-based setting.
- The role involves working across a broad patient demographic, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with exposure to general, neurosurgical, and spinal anesthesia cases.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring safe neurological management.
• Perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia when required.
• Monitor ventilation, respiratory, and hemodynamic status during all phases of surgery.
• Deliver anesthesia care in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
• Document all patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
• Contribute to a high-volume surgical environment (approx. 50 cases daily across multiple ORs).
• Respond to perioperative emergencies and manage airway, including intubation if necessary.
Qualifications
• Active Michigan license – REQUIRED.
• ACLS & BLS (AHA-certified) – REQUIRED.
• PALS – REQUIRED.
• Clean background – REQUIRED.
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience – REQUIRED.
Working Hours
• 10-hour shifts (days).
• No call requirements.
Skills
• Proficiency with spinal and local infiltration anesthesia.
• Familiarity with pediatric, adult, and geriatric anesthesia management.
• Strong airway and emergency management skills (including intubation).
• EMR proficiency (Epic preferred).
