Position Details:
- Setting: Large academic health system (UMass), spanning 3 hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and GI centers
- Start Date: Fall 2025 (Sept–Dec window; credentialing required)
- Duration: Ongoing flexible locums
- Shifts Available: 12-, 16-, 18-, or 24-hour shifts (flexible weekday coverage; no call)
- Shift Volume: High surgical throughput; multiple ORs and NORA sites (non-operating room anesthesia such as cath lab, IR, GI suite)
- Shifts Per Provider: Flexible, based on availability and credentialing across sites
- Call: None required
- Orientation: Phone screen with administrator & physician + EMR training
Practice & Facility Information:
- Work Environment: Large integrated anesthesia care team (~160 providers) across 7 clinical sites (3 centralized hospitals + ASC/Marlboro separate)
- Support Staff: CRNAs + anesthesiologists in team model
- EMR System: Epic (required)
- Malpractice: A-rated coverage provided
- Credentialing: Multi-site; requires 2 professional references (including at least 1 physician)
Certifications Required:
- Board Certified CRNA
- Massachusetts license (or IMLC-eligible)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
