This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care across diverse clinical settings within our facility. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered anesthesia services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients of all ages for a variety of surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout procedures.
- Manage pain control and sedation techniques aligned with best practices and clinical protocols.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless perioperative care.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and clinical process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all anesthesia-related activities.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program with current certification as a CRNA by the NBRC.
- Valid Louisiana state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a CRNA.
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience preferred.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
