- Other details: The facility is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. Seeking full-time locum coverage with providers available to work a combination of 8-, 10-, 12-, and 16-hour shifts, including call. The facility operates seven days a week, with elective cases on Saturdays from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM followed by standby call, and Sundays dedicated to standby call only. Call schedules will be determined and distributed evenly among the anesthesia team. The role involves working alongside a team of five full-time anesthesiologists and multiple CRNAs, with an average of 2–10 cases per day, adult-only patients ages 16–99, and approximately one call per evening or weekend shift. The department includes 12 ORs, including cath labs, with cases across orthopedics, general surgery (including robotic and minimally invasive), neurosurgery, GI endoscopy, and electrophysiology and structural cardiology. The facility uses Cerner for general charting, while anesthesia documentation is on paper. Requirements include CAA certification, ACLS, and BLS, and board-certified candidates or those who have passed their boards are preferred; a DEA license is not required as CAAs work under the anesthesiologist’s license. New graduates will be considered for this position.

Job Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and other healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
* Participate in call coverage as assigned, including evenings, weekends, and standby shifts.
* Document anesthesia care accurately using paper records and Cerner for general charting.
* Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care and monitoring.
Qualifications
* ACLS and BLS certifications required.
* Board certification or successful completion of board examinations.
* New graduates will be considered.
* DEA license not required, as CAAs work under the supervising anesthesiologist’s license.
Working Hours
* Facility open seven days a week.
* Saturdays: elective cases 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, standby call after 3:00 PM.
* Sundays: standby call only.
* Call schedule distributed equally among the anesthesia team.
* Average caseload: 2–10 cases per day, adult patients ages 16–99.
