Job Description:
Maine Medical Center is seeking multiple experienced locum CRNAs to support their expanding clinical services. This hospital-based opportunity offers a collaborative environment with medical direction billing and a strong focus on patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities
Provide spinal anesthesia, ventilation management, and local infiltration.
Work collaboratively with physician anesthesiologists in a medical direction model.
Cover 36–40 hours/week, 10–12 hour shifts (options for 0700–1730, 0700–1930, 0900–1930, 0900–2130, 1100–2330).
Participate in typical breaks (15-min AM/PM) and lunch (unpaid).
Ensure all documentation via EPIC EMR is accurate.
Qualifications
ME State License – Highly Preferred (willing to assist with obtaining)
BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED (PALS optional)
Minimum 1 year of level 1 trauma center experience – REQUIRED
No new graduates
Working Hours
Ideal 3–6 month contracts with extension options
Full-time availability preferred; OT not permitted
Skills
Ability to work independently while following collaborative medical direction
Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient care focus
