Job description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum assignment in Jackson, MI. This role offers $170–$180/hr, a supportive environment, and scheduled shifts with no on-call duties required. You will work with a collaborative anesthesia team providing care across pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
Job Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, including neurological management pre- and post-procedure.
Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required.
Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status during surgeries.
Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment.
Maintain continuous monitoring across perioperative phases.
Utilize Epic EMR for anesthesia documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week.
Participate in a hospital-based Level II Trauma Center with ~50 surgical cases/day.
Assist in multiple ORs with rotating assignments.
Respond to emergencies, including airway management and intubation.
Qualifications
Active Michigan License – Required
Clean Background – Required
ACLS & BLS (AHA) – Required
PALS – Required
Minimum 1 year CRNA experience – Required

No on-call duties

Skills
Proficiency in spinal and local infiltration anesthesia
Experience with Epic EMR
Effective teamwork in multi-OR settings
Emergency airway management skills
