Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Facility & Practice Overview:
Join a well-established, hospital-employed group at a Level III trauma facility located in beautiful Coos Bay, Oregon. As the largest hospital on the Southern Coast of Oregon, this center serves a catchment area of over 320,000 residents. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team of experienced physicians and CRNAs, practicing independently while providing high-quality anesthesia care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care according to Oregon State statutes and organizational policies.
- Practice independently, utilizing your expertise and experience.
- Participate in a team-focused environment with physicians and CRNAs.
- Manage diverse cases, primarily excluding heads and hearts, with healthy pediatric patients only.
- Perform all types of blocks and related anesthesia procedures.
- Share on-call responsibilities equitably, with post-call days off.
- Contribute to a shared weekend schedule.
- Maintain a clean malpractice history and provide a copy of the NPDB self-query report.
- Confirm residency within the immediate local area.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified CRNA.
- Minimum of 1 year of employment experience as a CRNA.
- Willingness to obtain an Oregon license if not currently licensed.
- Strong ties to Oregon, such as family in the area or previous residence.
- Clean malpractice history and background.
- Collaborative and independent practice skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Board Certification as a CRNA (required).
- Oregon State license or willingness to obtain (required).
- Copy of the NPDB self-query report (required).
