Locum - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Opening: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Detroit, MI

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at a reputable hospital in Detroit, Michigan! The facility is well-equipped and aims to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia coverage at the hospital, starting as soon as credentialed.
• Work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Engage in a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
• Utilize Cerner as the documentation system.
• Operate under a supervision model with surgical teams.
• Perform surgical cases ranging from 7 to 20 per day based on case type.
• Handle pain management cases that range from 0 to 10 per day.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, MDAs, RNs, and scrub techs.
• Deliver care to a patient demographic from pediatric to geriatric, excluding neonates.
• Conduct general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA - Required
• Active Michigan nursing license - Required
• Clean background check - Required
• ACLS & BLS certification through AHA - Required
• Experience with pediatric cases - Required
• Local providers preferred but will consider travel providers with included travel expenses.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Certification from NBCRNA
• Active Michigan State License
