Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Join our dedicated team at a prestigious hospital in Portland, Maine! We are seeking multiple Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide high-quality anesthesia care. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical cases, primarily general surgical cases for adults.
• Administer spinal anesthesia and manage ventilation as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of physician anesthesiologists within a medical direction billing model.
• Document patient information and care using the EPIC documentation system.
• Participate in a busy surgical schedule with an average of 100 cases per day.
• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification is required.
• Maine State License is highly preferred; candidates needing to obtain a license may still apply.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory (PALS is optional).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center as a CRNA is required; no new graduates will be accepted.
• Ability to work at the hourly rate cap of $280 is required.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Board Certification.
• Maine State RN Licensure (highly preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
