Job description A Critical Access Hospital in Oregon is seeking a board-certified CRNA with an active Oregon license to join their autonomous anesthesia team for a 6-month locum tenens assignment starting September 1st. The position offers a flexible schedule with 4 ten-hour shifts per week and call coverage responsibilities. Providers will deliver anesthesia for a variety of cases including ortho, general surgery, podiatry, ENT, pediatrics, urology, OB/GYN, and occasional endoscopy. The practice uses EPIC EMR and supports a busy but variable surgical case load.

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care autonomously across multiple operating rooms (2–4 rooms daily).

Perform procedures including spinals, epidurals, OB anesthesia, peripheral nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided procedures, and endoscopy anesthesia.

Manage anesthesia care for a diverse patient population including ortho, ENT, podiatry, healthy pediatrics, urology, OB/GYN cases, and occasional endoscopy cases.

Participate in call coverage (1 weekday per week, 1 weekend per month) with proficiency in OB anesthesia if taking call.

Document anesthesia care accurately using EPIC EMR.

Collaborate with 1 MD and 4 other autonomous CRNAs in the practice.

Qualifications

Active Oregon CRNA license required.

Board Certification in Nurse Anesthesia required.

DEA license preferred.

COVID-19 vaccination required or approved exemption.

New graduates accepted.

Proficiency in required anesthesia procedures including spinals, epidurals, OB anesthesia, peripheral nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided techniques.

Working Hours

4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift.

Call coverage: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month.

Skills

Ability to perform a broad range of anesthesia techniques including OB and regional blocks.

Experience working in a critical access hospital or similar setting preferred.

Comfortable working autonomously across multiple operating rooms.

Skilled in EPIC EMR documentation.

Strong teamwork and communication skills within a multi-provider anesthesia group.
