Required Skills:
- Valid North Carolina State RN license with Board Certification as a CRNA
- Minimum of 1-2 years of current clinical experience in anesthesia
- Active ACLS and PALS certifications
- Ability to float between multiple facilities and adapt to different departmental protocols
- Proficient in anesthesia administration and monitoring using Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitors
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in cardiac/vascular or neuro anesthesia
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Exposure to robotics or advanced anesthesia procedures
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Prior experience in hospital-based anesthesia within a similar clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with potential for optional call shifts
- Credentialing completion within 60-90 days
- Ability to support diverse patient populations, including adult and geriatric patients at adjunct locations; no pediatric cases at Wesley Long
- Flexibility to float among multiple hospital sites including Annie Penn, Wesley Long, and Moses Cone as needed
