Contract Length: 6 months (Holidays will be off/closed).
Shift Details: Mon-Fri
Schedule: 7a-4p
Call: There is call for Peds tonsils (1 week per quarter in July and Oct) Call will be evening call that week and 24hr call that weekend.
Work Details:
• Support staff: 3 CRNAs FTEs (2 leaving), 2 in OR and 1 in Endo rotating (may keep perm FTE in Endo), 2 circulating RNs, 3 scrub tech, 2 pre-op RNs and 2 PACU RNs
• Patients per day: In the OR: 65 – 80 procedures, In Endo: 100-130 procedures per month
• Patient population/age: 2+ years of age
• EMR: Epic
• Skills required: Totally Independent, no supervision. . . Must be ok w/ Peds, ENT, Gen Surg, Podiatry, Ophthalmology (cataracts once per month), Ortho Surgery (small procedures carpal tunnels, rotator cuff, all outpatient) Endo (EGD, Colon, ERCP,EGD) The Locum will likely only be covering the OR, so no Endo is a strong possibility
• Practice Setting: 2 OR rooms, 2 Endo suites
