Practice Setting
- Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Work in the hospital's surgery department
- Team includes an anesthesiologist and 3 CRNAs
- Adult patient population only
Schedule
- July 18-20 coverage (Friday through Sunday)
- 24-hour shifts, 7 AM to 7 AM
- Friday: light surgery day
- Saturday and Sunday: mostly OB call
- Call is taken from hotel-no need to stay onsite
Procedures and Cases
- Core anesthesia cases with a focus on OB
- GI scopes and occasional general surgery
- Ideal for CRNAs comfortable managing OB cases
Requirements
- Active Illinois license required
- DEA certification needed
