Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Locum

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum position in a dynamic healthcare facility located in the charming city of Cadillac, Michigan. This practice is known for its supportive environment where you will collaborate with a team that includes part-time and full-time CRNAs and MDAs. The facility features five operating rooms and serves an average of 25 surgical cases per day. Candidates must be ready to participate in a call rotation, ensuring comprehensive patient care around the clock.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures including ortho, general surgery, scopes, dental, and uro.
• Provide acute care to patients of all ages with a focus on safety and comfort.
• Participate in a call rotation of one weekday and one weekend per month.
• Work independently with no supervision during shifts.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records using the Plexus EMR system.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia plans tailored to patient needs.

Qualifications:

• AANA Board Certified (REQUIRED)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified (REQUIRED)
• Current Michigan license (REQUIRED)
• Experience in regional block and obstetric anesthesia (REQUIRED)
• Must participate in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS program (REQUIRED)
• Clean background for expedited credentialing (REQUIRED)
• COVID vaccination status at the time of submission (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan nursing license
• AANA Board Certification
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
