Job description
Job Title: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Join our dynamic team at a leading medical center in Pueblo, Colorado, where we are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. With a strong support network of 11 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs, our facility features modern operating rooms equipped with advanced technology. We are currently seeking certified registered nurse anesthetists to provide essential support in our bustling practice, which handles an average of 25 surgical cases per day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer general anesthesia for various surgical procedures with a focus on adult patients.
- Participate in a team care model, working closely alongside anesthesiologists and other CRNAs.
- Perform preferred procedures including spinal anesthesia and complex vascular and orthopedic cases as needed.
- Contribute to patient safety and high-quality care during surgical operations.
- Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating with surgical teams and staff.
- Complete necessary training and orientation, including EMR (Epic) training and shadowing.
Qualifications:
- NBCRNA Certified (required).
- Active Colorado Nursing License (required).
- Current BLS certification (required).
- Experience using Epic EMR, specifying years of experience and last usage date.
- Clean malpractice and background history (required).
- COVID vaccinated (required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Colorado nursing license.
- NBCRNA certification.
- Active BLS certification.
