Locum CRNA – Anesthesia in Cumberland County, ME.

We are hiring a CRNA – Anesthesia for a Locum assignment in Cumberland County, ME!

Job details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 3-6 Months
• Shifts: 36-40 hours/week. 10- or 12-hour shifts
• Schedule Details: 0700-1730 & 0700-1930 are most common, there are options to work 0900-1930; 0900-2130; 1100-2330 as the schedule allows.
• Practice Setting: Hospital based
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• CRNA be Supervised or Work Independently: We utilize a medical direction billing model with a collaborative practice model alongside an excellent group of physician anesthesiologist.
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 100
• Description of OR Staff: The staff at Maine Medical Center pride themselves on patient-centered care and fostering an environment of collaboration and mutual respect. We work hard and take care of one another while providing excellent care for our patients.

Required Procedures:

• General Surgical Cases ADULT
• Spinal Anesthesia
• Neurosurgical Cases
• Ventilation Management
• Local Infiltration
• CRNAs will NOT do open hearts, regional anesthesia, central lines. We have dedicated CRNA teams that cover pediatric, thoracic and OB cases, so locums will generally not do those cases.

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification
• ME State License (willing to obtain license)
• BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED (PALS is optional)
• >1 year of level 1 trauma center experience as a CRNA
