Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Anesthesia in Maine
Locum Tenens CRNA – Anesthesia
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: CRNA - Anesthesia
Location: Maine
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 36-40 hours/week, 10- or 12-hour shifts (0700-1730, 0700-1900, 0900-1900, 0900-2100, 1100-2300)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 3-6 months (flexible)
Position Details:
- Patient Population: All ages
- Setting: Hospital-based
- Responsibilities:
- General surgical cases (adult)
- Spinal anesthesia
- Neurosurgical cases
- Ventilation management
- Local infiltration
- CRNAs will not do open hearts, regional anesthesia, or central lines
- EMR System: EPIC
- Support Staff: Collaborative CRNA and anesthesiologist team
- Days Per Month: 36-40 hours per week
- On-Call/Weekends: As needed
Compensation & Reimbursement:
- Flight: No first-class flights
- Hotel: Covered
- Rental Car: Standard rental (no premium/SUV)
- Mileage: Billed at IRS standard rate
Requirements:
- Board Certification (AANA) - Required
- Maine State License - Highly Preferred (will consider candidates needing to obtain a license)
- BLS, ACLS - Required (PALS optional)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center as a CRNA - Required (new grads not accepted)
