We are seeking a Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Iowa.

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: CRNA - Anesthesia
Location: Iowa
Rate: $255/hr, travel can be billed separately
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (30 min unpaid lunch)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:
- Patient Population: General Anesthesia
- Setting: Hospital
- Responsibilities: Must be comfortable working independently and handling all scopes of practice
- Required Procedures:
- General Anesthesia: Cardiac, Thoracic, Neurosurgical (Cranial & Spine), Pediatrics, Trauma, OB
- Regional Anesthesia: Epidural, Spinal, Interscalene/Supraclavicular, Axillary, Femoral/Adductor Canal Block, Popliteal, Sciatic, Ankle, TAP Block
- Anesthesia Skills: Central Line Placement, PA Catheter, Arterial Line Placement, TEE Placement, Ultrasound (Regional Blocks, Line Placement), Pain Management, Ventilation Management
- EMR: Cerner
- Call Requirements: Nights & weekends (shared rotation, minimal after-hours call, mostly OB cases)
Submission Requirements:
- NBCRNA Certification – Required
- Active Iowa License – Highly Preferred
- Local Candidates – Highly Preferred
- Clean Malpractice/Background – Highly Preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, CSR, DEA – Required
- Comfortable with all scopes of practice – Required
- Comfortable working independently – Required
- COVID-19 Vaccination – Required
