Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking two Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to be part of our dedicated anesthesia team. This facility boasts a supportive environment, featuring a strong anesthesiologist team and the latest technology to enhance your practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of 8 CRNAs and 1 MD.
  • Provide anesthesia for various surgical services within the hospital.
  • Work flexible shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
  • Utilize Meditech EMR and Spectrum Anesthesia EMR systems.
  • Manage an average of 2-3 surgical cases per shift, with 20-30 OR cases daily.
  • Participate in a robust block program supported by specialized RNs.
  • Independently conduct pre-ops, inductions, emergences, and nerve blocks.
  • Engage in a strong team environment with opportunities to maintain autonomy.
  • Handle adult patient demographics with some pediatric cases, excluding neonatal surgeries.

Qualifications:

  • Current AANA Board Certification (to be obtained before the start date).
  • Active Ohio nursing license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (to be completed before the start date).
  • Preferred: New graduates and experienced CRNAs with a minimum of 3 years of practice.
  • High preference for Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Ohio nursing license (or willing to obtain).
  • DEA registration required prior to start date.
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report required prior to application presentation.
