Job Opening: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical anesthesia care under the supervision of the Medical Director, Anesthesiologists, and Surgeons.
• Maintain professional credentials and clinical skills to ensure safe and effective anesthesia care.
• Administer various types of anesthesia, excluding transplant cases, utilizing a collaborative team approach.
• Support and provide service to a 15-county referral network.
• Participate in teaching sRNA’s, enhancing the education of future anesthesia professionals.
• Enjoy flexible scheduling with a balanced work-life approach, including post-call days off.
• Engage fully in all surgical procedures with limited pediatric cases and support for OB, Cath Lab, and ED.
• Contribute to nerve blocks and oversee some endoscopy procedures.
• Collaborate with a 300+ physician team throughout the procedural process.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Active Iowa nursing license preferred (not required to apply).
• New graduates and locum candidates are welcome to apply.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification CRNA (by time of start) - REQUIRED
• Iowa license highly preferred - PREFERRED
