Overview

An excellent opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a Trauma Level II inpatient facility in Jackson, MI. This position offers strong compensation, excellent benefits, and the chance to work in a supportive, high-autonomy environment with opportunities for growth.

Practice Highlights

  • Inpatient hospital setting – Trauma Level II facility

  • Mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour day shifts with flexibility to transition into longer shifts if desired

  • Minimal call responsibilities

  • High degree of autonomy and team collaboration

  • Excellent shift premiums available for evening shifts

  • Supportive environment to enhance and grow clinical skills

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Exposure to varied cases across infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

  • OSHA training required due to exposure to blood and blood-borne pathogens

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (final year of training) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) – REQUIRED

  • Active MI Nursing & Specialty License (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

  • DEA & CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start – REQUIRED, no exemptions)

  • Up-to-date COVID and Flu vaccinations – REQUIRED

  • Clean malpractice and license history – REQUIRED

  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program – REQUIRED

  • Experienced CRNAs, new graduates, and final-year CRNA students encouraged to apply

  • Will consider candidates previously Board Certified needing recertification

  • Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates

  • Not accepting 1099 or Locum candidates

Schedule & Coverage

  • Full-time inpatient role

  • Day shifts with mix of 8, 10, and 12 hours

  • Minimal call

  • Credentialing requires up to 90 days before start

  • All offers are contingent on successful credentialing/privileging

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Compensation: $238,368 annually (~$114.60/hr)

  • Starting Bonus: $30,000
